New Subscription support
Hi,
sorry for sending out an admin type post but there have been some attempts to get subscribers email addresses from the site – (why on earth? !). Anyway I am changing the subscribe base underneath – hope it all works ok 🙂 – apologies for this (already subscribed emails should not see any changes to this except for perhaps less spurious emails.

Hey Jim thanks for the book. Was wondering if I can get to say page 1058 quicker than having to go through 1-1057 first? Also, is there a way to print just one specific song page and not the whole book? Please advise.
Thanks and forever grateful,
Doug
Hi Doug,
on the first question it sort of depends on what app you are using to look at the songbook. I use Adobe reader on a tablet and that lets me do one of a number of things:
1. Click on the small page number displayed down towards the bottom (on my app it shows a vertical number almost at the bottom) – then you can type in a page number and it will go there.
2. Click on the link to the table of contents (in the Footer) – that will take you directly to the contents and you can click on any entry in that to go directly to the song
3. Click on the display boomarks item and that brings up a scrolling list of all the songs that you can scroll through and then you can click on any one and it will go directly there.
People with iPads and Adndroid tablet can both use these facilities
On the second question you can go to the page https://ozbcoz.com/individual-songs/ (that is linked by the menu item Ukulele Songs) and this brings up a scolling list of all the songs in the songbook. They are mostly right but I am updating them all over the next week or so to fix up a few issues (but most issues are minor). All you need to do is click on any of the songs and it will bring it up in the screen for you to download or automatically download it (depends on your device and browser).
Also (and this again is being improved over the next week or so) you can Search for a song(or for a performer) by using the search facility. Just enter say Bowie in the search box and it will bring up all songs by David Bowie. Then click on the heading of the song and it will display the pdf ready for you to download or print.
Hope this all made sense. (you may have to play around with the PDF Reader part to find that page number part)

Hello,
I just got your name/resource from the ukulele group in Lodi Wisconsin. They highly recommend Jim’s ukulele book. I have found the site but it is grayed out and I cannot seem to download it at all.
Any advice would be helpful.
Thanks much
If you go to https://ozbcoz.com/songbooks/ you will see a list of songbooks – then if you click on the one you want it will download
If you go to https://ozbcoz.com/Songs/ you will see a list of songs that you can open online

Dear Jim. Thanks for a great resource. As a sax-player, have been using the “Key” function to assist with jam-session playing for a couple of months since Aug-2022.
However, when I now select a song-title, I no longer get the lyrics & keys, just a blank page in a new tab.
Any assistance would be appreciated.
Apologies – there was an issue . I was driving back from my caravan and didn’t notice. Should all be ok now – again apolofies
Thanks for the update, much appreciated.
On a side note, I had trouble accessing the website as I’d forgotten my user ID, but knew my e-mail address. There is no facility to use the forgotten password function where the user ID is forgotten, but e-mail known. It tends to focus on remembering user ID but forgotten password. Obviously I’ve overcome the problem, but maybe an opportunity to widen the scope offered to gain site access.
Again, thanks for a great resource that really supports my sax-improv aspirations down-under.
Yes, for some reason I’ve just had a few requests for that feature so Have started to look at how to do it
