Option To Change Line Spacing in Songs

I saw on some Facebook comments that some people would like the option for larger fonts and also for an adjustable line spacing. This would allow them to create  more spread out song sheets when they are printing them out for performances.

I added font sizes 16 and 18 last week and have added a line spacing option this weekend. Check it out and I hope it will be useful

You can find the option under the Layout Menu Item

  1. Hey Jim, great songbooks! Much appreciated.
    I’m converting some of the songs I have into the same format, but can’t get the fonts right. Have tried Times New Roman with extended lettering and shifting the baseline, but still not similar enough to yours once I print it out. Can you tell me, what’s the font you’re using?
    Thanks

    1. My base font info for the Song pages is:

      font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
      font-size: 11pt;
      padding-top: 4.0em;
      padding-left: .5em;
      padding-right: .1em;

      hope that helps – I vary these of course depending on font size etc

      Jim

  2. Many thanks Jim, I’ve done it in Verdana, looks great with the tab and red colored dots.
    I did do a few of the stranger songs in ‘Amatic’ and ‘Passion Tea’ and a gothic looking font too, just for fun. Peace and love, Simon
