Song Specific Defaults
A question came to me a while ago from Sharon who asked if it would be possible to save the Key used for a number of songs so that her club wouldn’t have to change it each time they opened that song.
My initial reaction was that this wouldn’t be possible. However I got to thinking about it and have released the facility to save ALL the layout info for a song PLUS the key. So this goes further than the default settings but is just for a specific Song
Now this also uses the Cookie facility so these must be enabled in your browser.
All you need to do is to click on the COG picture up in the menu of the song and the current settings will be saved for next time.
The settings are saved for 90 days and will then expire.
NOTE: each browser has its own rules on how many cookies can be saved – so this may be a limited number or quite a lot – I can’t guarantee that you will be able to save hundreds of songs – but give it a try 🙂

So for an example : I have 59th Street Bridge song up on the site. It normally opens in key D – A group may want to always play THAT song in G. So they transpose the song to G – click on the COG symbol and from then on when the song is opened it is automatically transposed to G
