Changes to Song Display

Two changes have been introduced to the Songs program

On all chord diagrams the note name that is being selected is now displayed at the bottom of the chord diagram

If you click on a chord diagram then you currently get a list of alternative chord shapes you can use for that chord. When that alternative chord window is open you can now left click on an alternate chord diagram. If you do click on a diagram then the chord diagram on the song page will change to that diagram. This change follows though to creating a pdf (so you can send out a copy of the song with a revised diagram in it) and also adding to favorites.

If you then decide not to keep that revised diagram then you can RIGHT click on the new diagram on the song page. You will then be asked if you want to Delete that diagram in which case it will revert to the previous diagram (which could be a previous chord replacement or the original), Delete all definitions for that diagram, or delete all revised definitions for all chords.

  1. I can’t get that to work in either Safari or Chrome, Jim – when I hover over the chord name in the song it pops up the diagram, but then as I move the mouse onto the diagram it disappears. The diagrams on the RH are no longer showing the alternatives at all. Have I misunderstood your instructions?

    1. Hi, saw your later email that says it works fine with Netscape. On Chrome and Safari you may need to do some refreshes to make it work

You can never click on the hover chord – all has to be on the alternate chords to select a new version and right clicking on the right hand (or top) chords to remove
