May 2019 Songbooks added

I have just uploaded the May 2019 songbooks. This includes the left handed ones and the Nashville / Roman chord numbering songbook.

Any issues please let me know and I will continue to update the website with new songs and changes until the next songbook comes out (October?)

You can find the songbooks at https://ozbcoz.com/songbooks/

  1. Thanks sooooooo much for all the work you put into keeping these books up to date and posted for all of us to use! Not an easy task, wanted you to know it is appreciated!

  2. Hi Jim
The work you do is phenomemal and your songbook is now the only source we look at for new songs to play. One thought occurred to us whilst looking at your latest release ( May 2019), that it would be helpful if you could indicate which songs you have added and any you have amended from Sept 2018 version. Extra work for you but a lot of time saved by us trying to test out your new additions.
    Thanks

    1. I may do that for the next songbook – been asked by others.
You can (for a short while until I start adding more song) look at the new songs list on the website. Go to https://ozbcoz.com/Songs
Click on the New Songs filter in the second box above the song list. Click on Filter and all the songs added since the last songbook come up.
When I start adding more songs then that facility will go because those songs will be overwritten the the real new songs so the you can just look at sorting the song list by Added.
      Hooe this makes sense

      1. Adding in modified/changed may be very difficult – I modified hundreds since the previous book – some may be simple format changes and some may be large changes – would be a chunk of work for me to add all this in with reason for the change

        1. It makes my dreams come true . Play an instrument and sing st the same time. Thanks you made it easy for me to play with your easy chords.

  3. If you go to the songbooks page there is now a PDF download (just above the songbook list) that will show all the added songs in the songbooks. Clicking on any song title in the PDF will take you to the song on the site (ukulele page).

I will create a new version of this for each new iteration of songbooks.

  4. Jim. On previous songbook issues eg Dec18, there was a very handy – Click for Contents – link at the bottom of the page that took you back to the top. On the latest Jun issue I notice it is gone. Was that deliberate. It was useful.
    Thanks
