Settings and Favourites
Over the last couple of weeks I have been tidying up the settings that are attached to Favourites, the individual song settings and the Default global settings. I believe they now save properly and are retrieved properly – let me know if that isn’t the case. Your old Favourites and settings may still be flaky but if you save them again if you find an issue then they should be fine. I have also removed some bugs in the Favourites (e.g. a strange set of characters appearing in front of the YouTube links)
Also I have had a number of people contact me to really plead the case of keeping the ability to save Favourites and Settings when not logged in to the system. So I have decided on the following:
If you are logged in then any Favourites or settings that you save will go to the central database and will share across any other device that you login to.
If you are not logged in then any Favourites and settings that you save will only go to your device (tablet, smartphone, PC) and will NOT be shareable across your devices. The settings and Favourites will not be recoverable by me if you lose them (say by clearing your cookies).
I highly recommend that you use the logged in service so that you have the added security of the database and device sharing.
