Additional Features in Layout
I have just updated the system to include a number of new Layout options. There are quite a few and so if anyone finds an issue then PLEASE PLEASE let me know as I may well have missed it .
These are all under the Layouts menu option
1. you can change the relative size of the headers (Title and artist/writer). As these get bigger when you increase the font size of the lyrics it may be useful to make them get NOT so big. So the measurements are based on a % of the lyrics font size
2. Line Spacing can now be 1.0 – previous minimum was 1.2
3. Chord Colours can be changed from Red to one of Red, Blue, Black or Green
4. You can make Lyrics Bold
5. You can make Headings Bold
6. You can make comments Bold
7. You can specify page numbers be inserted when you Create PDF
8. You can remove lines with Links in them e.g. YouTube links
9. There are more Fontsize options
The key name will show in the sub headings
Multi Column mode will work across multiple pages but is rather clunky. Place a {colb} at the end of the first column, then place a {np} at the end of the second (ie end of page). Then do the same for the next page etc. Not real great but possible. I will continue to work on this
All these options flow through to PDFs , Favourites and song settings . The Default Settings now cover some of them
Hope this is useful.
I am continuing work on the Login system
Just want to say thank you for this site…. I’ve only been playing ukulele just over a year but the songs and formats of your site have been really helpful and encouraging.
Keep the good work up
Thanks again
Robert
Thanks – appreciated
Just to say thank you so much for this wonderful site you are really helping two new ukulele players, it was brilliant find for us.
We like to print out the songs and if possible to have the full song on one page, we have managed to reduce the header size (thank you) but is it possible to move the whole of the text up nearer the top of the page.
Thanks again
I could look at reducing the padding above the heading and a small amount under the artist/writer line but that is not going to make a huge difference
Jim
I love this site as a resource for improving my uke playing.
Thanks for that – nice to hear !!
